FACULTY & STAFF

Contemporary life is deeply influenced by rapid technological progress as well as environmental and social crises. Faced with unpredictable change and insecurity, the young generation is easily influenced by materialistic values and the moral degradation of our times. Our teaching faculty and support staffs are handpicked post an intensive screening that not just affirms their expertise in the academic subject that they would help learn, but also sensitise and awaken the students to the life lessons they would learn along the way. To phrase it in another way, the teachers don’t simply ‘teach’ but help the children to learn and explore their world, while discovering themselves. They are friends, mentors, confidantes, house parents and more. Our support staff too, tunes in to the ethos of the school.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY

  • It matters a great deal as to how the most basic of concepts are being taught, especially when we take into consideration the most typical of subjects such as Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. To eliminate the fear and to bring out the best of a student’s performance, teaching methodology plays a big role. Students studying in secondary classes require absolute clarity of each concept.
  • Our hands-on learning approach allow each child to have a clear conceptual understanding of logic behind every formula, every practical or every application learned is well engraved in the minds of these little geniuses.
  • Our faculty guiding the students with advanced knowledge of Science, Mathematics or any typical subject a child usually runs away from. This helps them stay a step ahead of their competition that they will be facing in their coming years.

EXTRA CARE

Students are given personalized training to appear for the Board examinations with extra tutorials being provided at appropriate times. The study programme is planned carefully with adequate time being set aside towards the end of the course for revision and practice in examination techniques giving the students a cutting edge above the rest.

STUDENT COUNCIL

The School Student Council comprises of representatives from Senior Secondary. The Council plans, organizes and executes cultural and sports activities at the school and at inter school level. The Council members also play a role in maintaining general discipline at the school and hold office for the academic year.

OUR HOUSES

In order to foster a healthy competitive spirit and to create a sense of belonging, all students are divided into four Houses. Each House has student and teacher representatives. The Inter House competitions are conducted with a view to promote learning, entertainment and awareness. Merit certificates are awarded to the winners and House points are determined based on points awarded throughout the year.

  • Honourable Dr. M.G.R - Blue - Sky is the limit
  • Mahatma Gandhi - Yellow - Peace with prosperity
  • Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam - Green - Acme the goal
  • Pandit. Jawaharlal Nehru - Red - Pinnacle of success

Each House is governed by a House Captain, Vice-Captain and a Junior Captain.

STUDENT ENRICHMENT

The team aims at enhancing synergistic evolution of a child by consistently instilling development of attitudes, habits, values and skills in order to enable them to be self-reliant to make rational and wise decisions to settle or manage stress and disagreements and ultimately to recognize and channelize his/her strength and energy to vault above challenges only to chisel out a genial human being. This would train and equip the child to develop social and interpersonal skills which will enable peaceful and meaningful co-existence.
