Another objective of this programme is to underline the significance of the interdependence of all human beings and our dependence on the environment in this shrinking global village. Students must acknowledge that they have a responsibility towards the less privileged, the disadvantaged, the CWSN (Divyang), the society, and the environment. The principle of giving to society has to become second nature to them. Keeping these objectives in mind, SEWA projects have been designed for preparing students to be active global citizens that enhance the quality of life both for others and for themselves.

CBSE has introduced a streamlined and well designed Health and Physical Education (HPE) program to mainstream health and physical education in schools for students. “Health is often a state of physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual well- being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity”. Hence, we have decided to mainstream health and physical education for class 9 and 10 with the aim of preventing them from having a sedentary lifestyle.

HPE for Secondary Classes IX-X -The activities revolve around six different themes - Knowing your Body, Food and Nutrition, Personal, Environmental Hygiene and Sanitation Physical Fitness, Being Responsible and Safe and Behavior and Life Skills. The objective of the modules and activities is to focus on the different aspects of growth and appropriate development of the child.

Knowing the body activities will take the child from knowing body parts and their functions to appreciation of the importance of each body part. This will lead to heightened understanding of the need for correct information regarding growing up processes which will help in creating a well informed individual.

Food And Nutrition Activities focus on the effect of the right food and nutrition intake to generate positive energy and thus influence learning capacity. Variations in geographical location alter or modify nutritional intake. Food can effect energy levels, concentration and learning.

Personal, Environmental Hygiene and Sanitation Activities emphasize on the need to ensure that children follow clean and regular habits regarding bath, bowel movement, sleep, oral hygiene, nails and hair. Once personal hygiene becomes a part of the regular system the child will look forward to having a cleaner environment.

Being Safe And Responsible Activities help the students to understand the consequences of risk taking behavior and create a safe environment for themselves and others. This would lead to a better quality of personal life and would enhance positive behaviour towards self and environment. Security and an environment that is physically and emotionally safe is the need of the hour and equipping a child to handle situations that are age appropriate is the task of the school, family and community.

Behaviour and Life Skills focuses on bringing about an awareness and in-depth understanding of behavioral issues revolving around a child which will certainly influence his or her academic performance and social development. The module is an attempt to forge clarity for the teachers to facilitate the child's learning progress. The objective of the activities is to highlight self management and infuse skills within the child which will help him or her emerge as an individual who will be well equipped to handle related issues

The future of young India is being shaped in the schools and it is imperative that all of us take a proactive role in ensuring that healthy and balanced young minds leave school and forge ahead confidently.

Contemporary life is deeply influenced by rapid technological progress as well as environmental and social crises. Faced with unpredictable change and insecurity, the young generation is easily influenced by materialistic values and the moral degradation of our times. Our teaching faculty and support staffs are handpicked post an intensive screening that not just affirms their expertise in the academic subject that they would help learn, but also sensitise and awaken the students to the life lessons they would learn along the way. To phrase it in another way, the teachers don’t simply ‘teach’ but help the children learn and explore their world, while discovering themselves. They are friends, mentors, confidantes, house parents and more. Our support staff too, tunes in to the ethos of the school.

Students are given personalized training to appear for the Board examinations with extra tutorials being provided at appropriate times. The study programme is planned carefully with adequate time being set aside towards the end of the course for revision and practice in examination techniques giving the students a cutting edge above the rest.

The team aims at enhancing synergistic evolution of a child by consistently instilling development of attitudes, habits, values and skills in order to enable them to be self-reliant to make rational and wise decisions to settle or manage stress and disagreements and ultimately to recognize and channelize his/her strength and energy to vault above challenges only to chisel out a genial human being. This would train and equip the child to develop social and interpersonal skills which will enable peaceful and meaningful co-existence.
