The School follows the CBSE curriculum for Class IX and X students and use NCERT textbooks. In addition to academics, life skills and values are also assessed. Students of Grades IX & X begin their day at 9: 10 a.m. and disperse at 5:00 p.m.
The Students of the middle school begin their day with an assembly 20 minutes at least every day, which gives every child an opportunity to shed his/her inhibitions and exhibit his/her talents. Students gather to perform a common song, prayer, and to receive common announcements with Principal's Message / Speech. Assembly is the Forum for special presenters of educational, health, or safety materials, or for school plays, talent shows, Quiz, General Knowledge, Special Speech etc.

Math & Science Secondary classes aim at making our students excel their core understanding of the concepts.
Social Science for secondary grades covers History, Geography and Civics, through practical learning.
English is the first language & mandatory for all, taught through creative tools and visual aids.
Languages Multi-linguistic skills add a huge advantage to the personality of a child. It not only helps him in better communication but also provides him with wider opportunities in every field. English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam.
Cycle test is conducted every month. Weekly test for each subject is conducted every week followed by five major exams namely Pre Mid-Term, Mid Term, Post mid- Term, Final Preparatory Exam and Annual Exam.
No re-examination will be conducted in any subject. Absence from or failure in a subject excludes a student from being reckoned for the order of merit.
Any kind of malpractice in the tests, attempted or intended by any student is punishable with suspension or expulsion from the tests or from school according to the gravity of the offence and at the discretion of the Principal.
Board will conduct Class - X Examination for 80 marks in each subject covering 100% syllabus of the subject of class - X only. Marks and Grades both will be awarded for individual subjects
There are 7 to 8 cycle test conducted in the entire academic year and the average of the best two will be taken. However, for the purpose of gradient learning, three tests may be held as one being the mid-term test and other the two being pre mid and post mid-term with portion of syllabus cumulatively covered. Revision exams and pre board Exam and final preparatory exams are conducted. The gradually increasing portion of contents would prepare students acquire confidence for appearing in the board examination with 100% syllabus.
Notebook submission as a part of internal assessment is aimed at enhancing seriousness of students towards preparing note for the topics being taught in the classroom as well as assignments. This also addresses the critical aspect of regularity, punctuality, neatness and notebook upkeep.
These are subject specific application activities aimed at enrichment of the understanding and skill development. These activities recorded internally by respective subject teachers. Art integrated learning, learning enhancement programmes, Student portfolio work, HPE, SEWA (Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action).
Activities conducted for subject enrichment in languages are aimed at equipping the learner to develop effective speaking and listening skills.

CBSE has introduced a streamlined and well designed Health and Physical Education (HPE) program to mainstream health and physical education in schools for students. “Health is often a state of physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual well- being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity”. Hence, we have decided to mainstream health and physical education for class 9 and 10 with the aim of preventing them from having a sedentary lifestyle.
HPE for Secondary Classes IX-X -The activities revolve around six different themes - Knowing your Body, Food and Nutrition, Personal, Environmental Hygiene and Sanitation Physical Fitness, Being Responsible and Safe and Behavior and Life Skills. The objective of the modules and activities is to focus on the different aspects of growth and appropriate development of the child.
Knowing the body activities will take the child from knowing body parts and their functions to appreciation of the importance of each body part. This will lead to heightened understanding of the need for correct information regarding growing up processes which will help in creating a well informed individual.
Food And Nutrition Activities focus on the effect of the right food and nutrition intake to generate positive energy and thus influence learning capacity. Variations in geographical location alter or modify nutritional intake. Food can effect energy levels, concentration and learning.
Personal, Environmental Hygiene and Sanitation Activities emphasize on the need to ensure that children follow clean and regular habits regarding bath, bowel movement, sleep, oral hygiene, nails and hair. Once personal hygiene becomes a part of the regular system the child will look forward to having a cleaner environment.
Being Safe And Responsible Activities help the students to understand the consequences of risk taking behavior and create a safe environment for themselves and others. This would lead to a better quality of personal life and would enhance positive behaviour towards self and environment. The School Student Council comprises of representatives from Classes IX-XII. The Council, elected for a term of one academic year, plans, organizes and executes cultural and sports activities at the school and at inter school level. They also play a role in maintaining general discipline at the school.
In order to foster a healthy competitive spirit and to create a sense of belonging, all students are divided into four Houses. Each House has student and teacher representatives. The Inter House competitions are conducted with a view to promote learning, entertainment and awareness. Merit certificates and trophies are awarded to the winners and House points are determined based on points awarded throughout the year. The houses provide not only an increased feeling of identity and belonging; they also provide students with a sense of tradition and abundant leadership opportunities.
Each House is governed by a House Captain, Vice-Captain and a Junior Captain.
